I found some random pictures so I thought I'd put em up.
It's MCI time again. Over the summer I did radio comms, but this time I volunteered as a stretcher bearer. So we have to setup the triage and the different treatment areas. Also transporting patients wherever they need to go. We did training tonight. We moved a bunch of boxes of medical equipment, oxygen tanks, and stretchers over to the firehouse and set them up. Then we carried a volunteer around on a stretcher for a while. Hopefully we never have to do this for real!
Here are a couple pics from the training we did tonight. Also that is 1 of the 2 new fire engines that came in on the resupply ship. They didn't pull it out to make room for the training, because it is, tada, broken already...
These 2 pics I forgot to post at the time. I think this must have been towards the end of November. I had gone out to one of the closer field camps to help pull all the comms gear out when they shut the camp down for the season.
What, just chillin in front of the southern most active volcano in the world, no big deal...
I have no idea what I was doing in this pic. Maybe I was showing how big of a watermelon I wanted to eat at that moment. I could seriously eat me some watermelon right now...
This doesn't have anything to do with any of the other pics, but it's hilarious...
I showed you all the pics from my OB Tube adventure way back. I found these pics from when they put the OB Tube in, I thought you'd find them interesting.
